ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County man accused of trafficking large quantities of meth, cocaine and heroin in Rogersville two years ago was named in an 11-count Hawkins County grand jury indictment earlier this month that includes five Class A felonies.

Anthony Dwayne "Boobie" Sensabaugh II, 32, 980 Woodlawn St., Apt. F, Rogersville, was indicted on Feb. 1 on charges related to his arrest in a drug raid on his home April 14, 2017.

On that day, agents with the Third Judicial District Drug and Violent Crime Task Force (DTF), the District Attorney General’s Office, and Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Sensabaugh’s residence, which allegedly led to the discovery of a large quantity of heroin, ecstasy, methamphetamine, powder cocaine, crack cocaine, prescription narcotics, marijuana and a firearm.

Sensabaugh was arraigned Friday in Hawkins County Criminal Court and allowed to remain free on his $100,000 bond pending his next court date on June 3.

Sensabaugh was indicted for possession of heroin (17.93 grams) for delivery, possession of meth (52.24 grams) for delivery, possession of cocaine (14.83 grams) for delivery, possession of cocaine (14.12 grams) for delivery, possession of Alprazolam (14 pills) for delivery, simple possession of Hydrocodone, simple possession of Oxycodone, maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are sold, possession of a firearm during commission of a dangerous felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Each of the possession for delivery charges are enhanced for being within a drug-free school zone — specifically within 1,000 feet of Rogersville Middle School. That means each of the possession for delivery charges that ordinarily would have been Class B felonies (8-12 years) are now Class A felonies (15-25 years).
